1 Green indicator light – Green LED light labeled PAPER. When this indicator light is solid green printer is ready to print
2 Buttons
Blue Lever – PULL OPEN: Gently pull down to open printer door to insert paper
Paper – This printer needs standard 48gsm thermal paper 3-1/8-inch rolls. Place paper roll in printer with paper feeding over the top. If paper is inserted incorrectly the printer will not print.
Here is a list of possible error messages shown on screen and some easy troubleshooting steps. If any of these issues persist, contact AMSEC Product Support.

No paper present – printer doesn’t recognize paper | Ensure the required thermal printer paper is used and inserted correctly, over top. Heat is used to print, if the paper is not thermal nothing will print. Replace paper roll and try to print again. If the issue persists, restart safe and attempt to print again. |
Internal Error – bad data cable or bad printer | Ensure printer power light is on, has correct paper. Restart safe and attempt to print again |
Printer Busy – printing delayed | May print out after error message shows. If not, restart safe and attempt to print again. |
