When I enter my combo, either nothing happens or I hear a faint click. What should I do?

Try changing the batteries. Rotate the keypad counter-clockwise. Replace the batteries with Energizer or Duracell 9-volt alkaline batteries. (Caution: Do not pull on the battery wires to remove the battery cap.) Position the keypad onto the base and rotate clockwise to lock.
